WORKOUT ROUTINE FOR WOMEN: THE MAGIC 8 TRAVEL EXERCISES YOU CAN DO ANYWHERE

I love the "no gym, no problem" mantra because it makes fitness truly a part of your life, not just a fad. This attitude is especially important when it comes to staying healthy over the summer because there is a LOT of traveling to be done - whether that's to family, friends or a new destination - and it's really easy to give in to the twin excuses of "I don't have a gym" or "I don't have time."

That's why I'm sharing my favorite 8 full body exercises that you can do ANYWHERE and in very little time.

Each exercise works multiple muscles so you could just repeat one of them or you could do all of them. These exercises are cherry-picked from different fitness disciplines - think Barre, Yoga, Pilates, Calisthenics, etc.) so that you keep challenging your body in unique ways; this is the secret to continued gains and transformation. 

 

THE MAGIC 8 TRAVEL WORKOUT ROUTINE:

  1. Beast Crawl (Animal Flow)
  2. Plank Lifts (Pilates)
  3. Mermaid Rise (Pilates)
  4. Quad Lift (Barre)
  5. Walk Outs (Calisthenics/PT Bodyweight Training)
  6. Benção (Brazilian Flow, Corpão Classic Workout on Rio Project and Rio Plan)
  7. Airplane Lift (Barre/Yoga)
  8. Cardio Lunge (Barre)

 

THE MAGIC 8 TRAVEL WORKOUT PLAN:

Try doing 45 to 60 seconds of each exercise with max 15 second rest if working to time. If you'd prefer to do these as reps, try x15. Suggested sets is up to you and depends on how many exercises you choose to do from this workout list but a general rule is to do at least x2 sets if you do x4 exercises or less.
