Cardio exercises inspired by football agility drills to improve endurance.

 

High Knees & Shuffles

Form + Movement:
  • Relax neck and shoulders entire time 
  • Jog over cones with both feet stepping between them before continuing to next cone
  • Shuffle back to start, keeping pelvis down and chest up, be sure to shuffle equally on both sides 

 

Lateral High Knees

Form + Movement:
  • Relax neck and shoulders entire time 
  • Jog over cones laterally with both feet stepping between them before continuing to next cone
  • Jog back in same way, be sure to do both legs evenly 

 

Squat jumps & reverse runs 

Form + Movement:
  • Relax neck and shoulders entire time 
  • Try to squat jump the full distance of your cones on the way down the cone line, keep chest up and pelvis down during jumps
  • Reverse run on the way back 
Modifications:
  • Advanced - Increase your speed and the distance between cones 
  • Beginners - Decrease your speed and the distance between cones, also try squats instead of jumps and walk or jog to the next cone down the line
