Suco Verde is Portuguese for "green juice." You quite literally put all the green things you can imagine into it and then some fruit for sweetness. There's lots of room for experimentation here but generally you'll have lime, mint and some type of leafy green.
Of course, my recipe has a couple extra boosts in it! I added chia seeds (hydration + energy) and guarana (x2 caffeine of coffee.) This is great to have to fight off the afternoon energy slump, post-workout or between meals (although you should avoid regularly using it as a replacement.) You'll get the nutrients you need in less than 5 minutes.
Makes 2 servings
Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender and blend until nearly smooth. You should end up with a creamy texture with small bits of green. (It's more appetising than it sounds!) Pour into a large glass and garnish with lime.
