This one has been my go-to for years now. I'm not really a fan of porridge/oatmeal but I am fan of the heartiness and fullness that it gives you. This recipe will have the texture that you're used to without as much heaviness. It can also be whipped up in about 5 minutes!
Begin by melting your honey/maple syrup, almond butter and coconut oil over medium to medium high heat. (Try not to boil!) Once nearly melted, add coconut flakes and half your milk. Stir until well combined. Add additional milk according to your taste. Stir in vanilla extract.
Finally, remove from heat and top with cinnamon and preferred fruit. I love pomegranate seeds, chia seeds and sliced pears for mine. Be as creative as you like here!
