Healthy Snack for Work | Wasabi Coconut Crunch

I first discovered this unlikely combination during a recent trip to Hawaii. I was really skeptical about how these would taste but the flavour did not dissapoint!

The wasabi gives them a kick and some fire while the roasted coconut flakes your tastebuds loads of texture. Add a bit of sweetness with the maple syrup and you have a true fit foodie lover experience!

This is a health snack for work that packs up easily, lasts for days and satisfies more than just a bar or fruit. Make a big batch on the weekend and then carry this snack with you for the office!

  • Fiber (Coconut Flakes + Sesame Seeds)
    Nutrient Dense Carbs (Coconut Flakes, Sesame Seeds)
    Protein (Sesame Seeds)
    Healthy Fat (Coconut Flakes)

Wasabi Coconut Ingredients 

  • 2 cups (150g) roasted coconut flakes 
  • 1 tsp wasabi powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp hot chilli powder
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds (optional)

Recipe Steps

  1. Mix seasoning in small bowl separately and then sprinkle over all ingredients in large bowl 
  2. Adjust sweetness and wasabi as needed
