Most of us don't think about making tiramisu; it's complicated, lots of ingredients are involved and they do it so well in restaurants anyway. Instead, tiramisu is that delicious treat we reserve for ourselves on special occasions with an espresso.
But what if you could make tiramisu at home for a nice coffee break, brunch treat or even after a hard workout? AND what if it had no eggs, no cheese, no refined sugar, no cookies/cake and STILL tasted pretty fantastic? This recipe will give you that with a spicy twist. The chilli brings out the richness of the coffee and cacao.
This PALEO & VEGETARIAN version takes about 15 - 20 minutes to make (excluding the cashews which you need to soak overnight.) Don't be intimidated by the list of ingredients; it's basically the same stuff used across three layers - all you have to do is measure and throw in the blender for a fancy treat!
